Electronic Coaching and Instruction on the Internet


Course Objectives:

  1. Identify criteria necessary for successful online coaching
  2. Evaluate teaching/learning styles best suited to online instruction delivery
  3. Apply Vygotsky Scaffolding
  4. Develop an online coaching strategy to be used in peer coaching with another Baltimore County staff member.
  5. Use the Internet and World Wide Web to participate in synchronous and asynchronous coaching activities.
  6. Develop and produce at least three Internet / WWW coaching activities
  7. Use journaling as part of the evaluation.
  8. Develop at least 10 coaching Bookmarks representing Corporate, Military, Government, and Education WWW sites.
